Personal Biography
John E. Taylor was born and raised in the Kansas City metropolitan area.
He is a graduate of Rockhurst High School. He attended the University of Kansas, was a member of the Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration in 1983. He attended law school at the University of Arizona College of Law, was a member of the Arizona Journal of International and Comparative Law, a member of the Moot Court board and received a Juris Doctor degree in 1987.
John is licensed before the United States Supreme Court and state and federal courts in Kansas, Missouri, Colorado and the District of Columbia.
John's primary practice is located in the Kansas City metropolitan area including its six surrounding counties. He has a diverse practice and has arbitrated and tried jury and judge tried cases.
John received an appointment from the Missouri Supreme Court to serve two, four year terms as an attorney member and eventually chairperson on Division III of the Sixteenth Judicial Committee empaneled to review and decide ethics complaints against attorneys.
John is known for his practical and cost efficient approach towards the matters that he handles.
